About me.
I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor (Dip Couns, MBACP Accred) with a wide range of experience in charitable, public and private sectors. I have worked with people of all ages and backgrounds with a variety of issues and work closely with a fully qualified supervisor so that my clients get the best therapy they can.
I specialise in a few areas mentioned and have worked extensively within the LGBTQ+ community exploring sexulity and identity. I have also worked with anxiety and depression in various clients across all of my specialisms.
I have worked voluntarily for the NCT and am a trustee for a charity working with pregnancy, abortion, baby loss and early childhood. Through my work with both of these charities I have gained a wealth of knowledge working with pregnancy, birth, loss and post natal care. I have also worked with a variety of clients on birth trauma in both short and long term therapy.
I have worked for a number of years with people who are experiencing bereavement and loss including loss of a parent, partner, or spouse, facing their own death or the death of a loved one, work related stresses and balancing work and home life. Feeling depressed or anxious and family relationship problems.
My integrative diploma allows me to work with a range of issues using a variety of counselling models, this means that I can work with clients to find the therapeutic practice that works best for them.
I offer a safe therapeutic space to work on whatever you may need. I abide by the BACP ethical framework and confidentiality is of upmost importance to me and my clients and I am GDPR registered.
